Rstudio cannot find TeX.

Hi, I have installed Rstudio on a new computer and for some reason it cannot find the path for tex. When running the suggested command, I get:

Sys.which('pdflatex') pdflatex

  ""

When opening an .Rnw-document I get the warning "No TeX installation detected. Please install TeX before compiling."

What can I do?

   Oyvind,

   How did you install TeX (MiKTeX, ProTeX, or other) and also what location did you install it to? pdflatex needs to be in your path for RStudio to pick it up.

   I have installed MiKTeX to C/program files. How do I change the path so Rstudio will pick it up?
