texi2dvi fails on duplicated folder

Hello,

I find that when I duplicate a .Rnw file/folder, compiling the PDF always results in the error:
'Running texi2dvi on furcula-exploratory-data-analyses.tex...failed Error running /usr/texbin/pdflatex (exit code 1)'

It happens every time I duplicate the folder containing my .Rnw file and all related files, even if I delete the cache and figure folders, and all auxiliary files.

Any ideas?

   Roger,

   Have you tried closing the file and re-opening it from the new location? Likely if you didn't re-open the file, then it is trying to access the wrong location.

   No, I closed the file and reopened it—even tried restarting RStudio and even my whole Mac.

   I am still not able to reproduce this. Do you have another machine to try or any other details which I might be missing in order to reproduce?
