Turning off auto indent
I don't like auto indent. How can I turn it off? It feels like Microsoft Word trying to guess what I want and failing too often.

Bob,
Currently this option isn't available, but we've got a feature request to toggle this on and off. In the mean-time, are there specific examples that you can show in which the auto-indentation fails? It's be great to see the problem areas in detail and if there is something we should be fixing or if perhaps this is just a different style of indentation that we're not expecting.

I am cutting a subset of regressors from the lm call and trying to paste it nearby or in general play around with specifications. Indentation produces a mess of a whitespace in those cases.

It's basically unusable - indenting any new line I create by pressing enter or by pasting a piece of code.
