Use different keys for "up" and "previous command"

The up arrow functions both as a way to access the previous command in history and to navigate around the current command when it doesn't fit in one line. This makes is difficult to scroll in history e.g. three commands back, because it's not clear how many keystrokes you need to get there. Perhaps consider adding a dedicated key to pull up the previous command?

Thanks!

    Tal,

Thanks and we've got some ideas on how to make this better. For example, when we recall a command by hitting Up, we put the cursor at the beginning of the command, but when we hit Down, we put the cursor at the end of the command? That should take care of both cases without it being horribly unintuitive when up/down will recall the prev/next command and when it navigates between lines. We've got a bug and hope to look into it.

    Josh
